Wet phosphoric acid is purified, liquid ammonia is introduced into the purified phosphoric acid to prepare mono ammonium phosphate solution, and potassium chloride aqueous solution is added into the solution to generate Potassium Di Hydrogen Phosphate. Excess potassium chloride and ammonia are transferred into a by-product N-P-K compound fertilizer to obtain a product with high purity and high yield.

Potassium Di Hydrogen Phosphate is a chemical compound that finds immense application in the fertilizer industry in the manufacturing of potash and other fertilizer products. Potassium Di Hydrogen Phosphate is formed when caustic potash lye or caustic potash flakes are added to the solution of phosphoric acid until the desired PH is obtained and further dried to obtain fine quality white powder.
