OB-1 Powder Description
OB-1 Powder give whitening effect to fabric and are dyes that absorb light in the UV and violet region of the electromagnetic spectrum, and re emit light in the blue region. It is used as optical brightener for plastics. OB – 1 is an effective brightener for many plastics providing excellent white, permanent colour.
Optical brightening agent OB-1 is yellow crystal powder. It is insoluble in water, soluble in high boiling point organic solvents such as phenyl-chloride. Optical brightening agent OB-1 (Fluorescent brightener OB-1) is an excellent oxazole brightener with stable performance, which has good heat resistance, sunlight resistance, chlorine bleaching resistance and migration resistance.
