HEDP Acid Description
HEDP (1-Hydroxy Ethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid) is an organophosphonic acid-based scale and corrosion inhibitor widely used in industrial water treatment, cooling systems, and boiler cleaning applications. It forms stable complexes with metal ions such as Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Fe²⁺, effectively preventing scale deposition and corrosion even at high temperature and pH conditions.
