Di Sodium Hydrogen Phosphate Description
Di Sodium Hydrogen Phosphate is colourless white crystalline solid soluble in water. Di Sodium Hydrogen Orthophosphate is manufactured by method in which it is prepared with disodium hydrogen phosphate by taking phosphoric acid and sodium sulphate as raw materials. According to the mol ratio of 1:1.6-2.4, the phosphoric acid and the sodium sulphate are mixed and stirred and added with ammonia water with a mass percentage of between 26 and 28 percent or liquid ammonia. The raw materials are subjected to cool crystallization at a temperature of between 15 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, and filtered to obtain a dibasic sodium phosphate crystal and a filtrate.
The Di Sodium Hydrogen Phosphate also known as Sodium Phosphate Di Basic, Di Sodium Hydrogen, Orthophosphate is sodium salt of phosphoric acid and occurs as a white powder which is highly water soluble and hygroscopic. Di-sodium Phosphate is obtained when a solution of phosphoric acid is reacted with caustic soda, until the higher PH is obtained.
